San Pasqual earns fourth win, Antelope falls to Heritage Academy

WITTMANN, Ariz. (KYMA) - San Pasqual hit the road Thursday night to take on the winless Mountainside Wolves, looking to build on last week's forfeit victory over Tonopah.

The Warriors did just that, beating the Wolves 37-33 to earn their fourth win of the season.

Including the forfeit victory, San Pasqual has now reached four wins for the first time since 2013. According to MaxPreps, that was San Pasqual's best record since the website began tracking stats in 2004.

Meanwhile, Antelope traveled to Laveen looking to snap a three-game losing streak against Heritage Academy.

The Rams came up short, falling 29-22.

Ethan Farnsworth led Antelope with more than 200 yards of total offense, while Chris Lopez made his impact on defense with an interception in the first half and four sacks.

Coach Alfonzo Brown said penalties proved costly for the Rams, including one that wiped away a touchdown.

Antelope falls to 1-4 on the season and has lost four consecutive games, although the Rams will also receive credit for a victory against Tonopah.

Antelope will look to get back in the win column next Friday against Highland Prep West.
