IVC unveils new exhibit to bring artists from both sides of the border together

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA) - Imperial Valley College's (IVC) Art Gallery unveiled a new exhibit, bringing artists from both sides of the California-Mexico border together.

The exhibit is called "Californias Mirage," and is presented by the Zacks Gallery Foundation, an organization that puts together cross-border art shows.

"This artist, they live from both sides of the border. Some of them work acrylics, some other ones have oil," said Joses Bernardo Olmedo Flores, Curator at the IVC Art Gallery. "And we also have sculptures, ceramic sculptures as well as ready-made sculptures or assembled sculptures too."
