Human remains found in Grand Canyon

(CNN, KYMA) - Weeks after deadly flooding hit the Grand Canyon, killing two hikers and leaving a third one missing, human remains have been found.

The remains were recovered and sent to the Coconino County Medical Examiner's Office for identification.

They were discovered about ten miles downstream from one of the areas hardest hit by the August 29 flash flooding.

The wife of the missing hiker said she's aware of the discovery and asked for people to continue to pray.
