Trespasser at home of former Vice President Kamala Harris

MALIBU, Calif. (NBC, KYMA) - There was a scare at the Malibu home of former Vice President Kamala Harris and husband Doug Emhoff Friday night.

According to a spokesperson, security team members stopped a woman Friday who illegally entered the property.

Officials say Harris and her husband were not home at the time.

Law enforcement said authorities responded to a call at about 10:30 p.m. When they got there, they found a woman, they asked her to leave and she did.

No arrests were made.

Harris and her husband also own a home in Brentwood.

In January 20-25, two people were arrested near the Brentwood home for curfew violations in connection with the Palisades fire.
