CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Police rescue child from pond captured on drone

ST. PAUL, Minn. (CBS, KYMA) - A child was seen struggling to get out of a pond in St. Paul, Minnesota Monday.

St. Paul Police deployed a drone to fly overhead and pinpoint the location and condition of the trapped child.

Deputies were able to safely remove the child from the pond.

The child's family spoke out to say the child has autism and had wandered away from the home, winding up in the water.
