Small plane crash in Central California leaves 2 dead and 2 in critical condition

FESNO, Calif. (NBC, KYMA) - Two people have died and two others are in critical condition after a small plane crash in Fresno, California Saturday.

The Fresno Fire Department said the Grumman American AVN. Corp 11-5 plane crash happened around noon Saturday.

On Blythe Avenue near the Sierra Sky Park Airport.

Two people died and two others were taken to the hospital in critical condition after the crash.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene including PG&E.

Power to nearby residents was briefly knocked out at the time of the crash, but has since been restored.

The NTSB is investigating the crash.
