Shooting at rave in Switzerland leaves one dead

AARAU, Switzerland (NBC, KYMA) - An early morning shooting at a rave in the Swiss Canton of Aargau left one person dead and five wounded Sunday.

Authorities were alerted to at a horse racing track in the Schachen district at around 2:30 a.m. local time.

At the scene police found six victims, all in their 20's.

Authorities wrote on X that a 22-year-old woman died at the scene.

Four men and one woman were taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to severe.

Police said they are still looking for potentially more than one suspect and that there was no information yet about possible motives.
