Public safety alert issued for man wanted in connection to murder in Pima County

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) issued a BLUE alert for a man wanted in connection to a murder in Pima County.

Alex James Barnett, 33, is described by AZDPS as six-foot, two-inches tall, weighing 315 pounds, is bald, has brown eyes, has several tattoos, and is considered armed and dangerous.

Barnett, according to AZDPS, was last seen wearing a red shirt and a black biker vest, and was riding a maroon 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle model FLHXS, with the Arizona license plate number reading D4A656.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating Barnett, who is wanted for murder.

If anyone sees Barnett, do not approach and call 911.
