CPLC helps families across South County residents

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA) - A local non-profit provided a variety of services to South County residents Thursday.

Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC), in collaboration with Comite De Bien Estar, offered help with paying power bills and SNAP applications in San Luis, Arizona.

Marissa Calderon, Associate Director for CPLC Family Empowerment, said it's important to make these resources more accessible to residents in need.

"We know transportation can be a big barrier for many of these populations, and we want to make sure that…it's traditional for Chicanos Por La Causa we go to the neighborhood we go to the community make it more accessible," Calderon shared.
