Police chase in Oklahoma City ends in rollover crash

OKLAHOMA CITY (CBS, KYMA) - A police chase in Oklahoma City ended dramatically Saturday, August 8, when a driver accused of doing burnout donuts hit multiple vehicles and flipped over in someone's front yard.

The Oklahoma City Police Department said officers attempted to stop a red Dodge Challenger for traffic violations but then began a pursuit after the driver did not stop.

Drone footage released by the department shows the Challenger running two stops signs before being T-boned in an intersection, rolling, and then flipping into a resident's front yard.

The driver, 36-year-old Jaramy Yeats, was arrested and charged with eluding police, driving while license revoked, reckless driving, causing an accident resulting in injury, operating vehicle in accident without insurance, and failure to stop at stop sign, local media reported.
