American Airlines makes seat upgrades on all narrow body jets

(NBC, KYMA) - American Airlines is upgrading the in-flight experience for passengers.

The carrier is installing new seat back screens on all narrow body jets.

American moved away from screens nearly a decade ago as it expected passengers to use their own phones and other devices.

That strategy is changing as the airline continues to lose ground to competitors Delta and United. The airline will also add more premium seating to its narrow body flights.

American expects all upgrades to be done by the early 2030s. To learn more about this, click here.
