Man accused of killing his wife and driving her body nearly 400 miles appears in court

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (NBC, KYMA) - A Louisiana man accused of killing his wife and driving her body nearly 400 miles to Memphis is set to be extradited.

Tyronne Bazille appeared in court Monday for his extradition hearing. He consented to being sent back to Louisiana and signed his extradition papers inside the courtroom.

Bazille is charged with murder in the death of his wife, Lanessa Bradford. Memphis police say they discovered Bradford's body during a traffic stop Thursday.

According to Baton Rouge Police, Bazille shot Bradford after an argument at a park.

After the shooting, he then drove off with Bradford in the car and continued driving until the traffic stop in Memphis.
