1.5 million eggs recalled due to potential salmonella contamination

(CBS, KYMA) - There's new urgency this morning to a massive egg recall in Texas.

The FDA says more than 1.5 million eggs produced by Midwest Poultry Services have the potential to be infected with salmonella.

Some of these eggs were sold at Kroger and Brookshire grocery stores in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

If you think you bought some of those eggs, bring them back to the store, or just throw them out.
