Seven dead due to storm related fatalities in Indiana flooding

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (NBC, KYMA) - The Indiana Department of Homeland Security and the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) confirmed another storm related fatality Monday.

As of Sunday evening, there has been a total of seven storm related deaths.

The oldest of the victims was an 86-year-old woman in Porter County. The youngest, a four-year-old boy in Jennings County.

The other five deaths were found in Delaware County, Lake County, Laporte County, and Henry County, all ranging in age.

This as hundreds of people have been displaced in central Indiana.

Flash flood warnings continued throughout Sunday as heavy rain brought over two-inches per hour to parts of the area.

According to radar, scattered storms are expected Monday. The storm pattern could finally end by Tuesday.
