Stormy conditions return in Chicago suburbs

LEMONT, Ill. (CBS, KYMA) - Strong storms returned to the Chicago area Wednesday as residents recovered from widespread damage and power outages caused by the previous day's thunderstorms.

Footage filmed and posted to X by user @insanechicago1 shows rain in Lemont, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago Wednesday morning.

"Here we go again," read the post.

Tuesday's storms left hundreds of thousands of people without power in northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana Wednesday, according to news reports.
