Taylor Swift named to Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame

(CNN, KYMA) - Taylor Swift will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, making her the youngest inductee ever.

The 36-year-old musician was selected in the Contemporary Songwriter-Artist category.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Swift's debut album "Taylor Swift." She has since released a total of 12 albums of original studio work, and four of re-recorded work.

Earlier this year, Swift was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York, making her the youngest female writer to receive that honor.

No word yet on an exact date for the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony, but officials say it will take place this fall.
