Former Dallas Cowboys quarter back Tony Romo arrested

(NBC, KYMA) - Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was arrested in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Thursday night.

According to records obtained by NBC affiliate WTMJ from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.

Romo was stopped while driving on I-43 just south of Marquette interchange around 6:18 p.m.

He was taken into custody after performing poorly during a field sobriety test.

The former NFL player was booked and released around 11 p.m. and now has court date for September 21.

Romo has not responded to a request for comment.
