IMAX 70mm ticket markups for ‘The Odyssey’ selling on eBay

(CBS, KYMA) - Some fans of the "The Odyssey" are paying top dollar to see Christopher Nolan's new movie.

The film was shot entirely on IMAX film, but there are only about 25 theaters in the U.S. with true IMAX 70mm screens, which is what Nolan calls the "best possible experience" of the movie.

So, tickets are difficult to get and resellers are chasing on.

On eBay, three tickets to a New York showing are listed for $1,250. Another listing, four seats for $2,000, or you can get ten tickets for nearly $2,500.

The tickets are selling.
