Water floods the streets of Huntington, West Virginia

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (NBC, KYMA) - Torrents of rain flooded streets in parts of the river cities in West Virginia on Tuesday.

Where police confirmed two different vehicles became stuck in viaducts.

The 1st and 8th street viaducts had to close due to the deluge. Route 60 in nearby Catlettsburg was also shut down.

At one point the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Huntington and surrounding areas.

But it was later canceled.
