Alexander Kolodin projected as winner of the GOP primary for Arizona secretary of state

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, NBC) - NBC News has projected State Rep. Alexander Kolodin (R-District 3) as the winner of the GOP primary for Arizona secretary of state.

State Rep. Kolodin defeated Gina Swoboda in the Arizona primary Tuesday.

He is currently serving District 3 in the Arizona House of Representatives after being elected into office back in 2022.

Kolodin will go head to head against current Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, who is running for reelection unopposed.
