Police search for suspect who broke into Saquon Barkley’s home

(NBC, KYMA) - Saquon Barkley's Chester County residence was the target of a home invasion Saturday morning, the Chester County District Attorney's Office said.

The home invasion happened at around 5 a.m. Eastern in the Malvern section of Tredyffrin Township, the D.A.'s office said.

Authorities are trying to track down the suspects who broke into the home of Philadelphia Eagle Saquon Barkley, while police say he and his family were still inside.

It doesn't appear anything was taken from the residence, adding they're now investigating whether a white SUV is tied to the burglars.

The NFL, NBA, and FBI have previously warned athletes to update security systems, install cameras, and keep valuables in a safe.

Investigators say they are scouring surveillance footage, and asking if anyone has information to contact police.
