Tracking cloudy conditions and seasonable weekend temperatures

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - We are still tracking cloudy conditions throughout the weekend and into the work week.

The humid conditions we have felt the past few days are tracking to dry out as well over the next few days.

Saturday in both Yuma and Imperial County's, cloud cover will persist throughout the day. We should see some clear skies for good portions of the afternoon on Saturday. But, into the evening hours and into Sunday and Monday, we are tracking mostly cloudy conditions throughout the region.

The dew point in Yuma County on Saturday is still sitting around the 60 degree mark. While in Imperial County, they are seeing dew points in the 52-55 degree range. That humidity should drop off on Sunday. With both counties sitting in the 55-45 degree range, making conditions feel a bit more dry.

The high temperature on Saturday in Yuma is expected to get up to 106°F. While Imperial is expected to reach 107°F. On Sunday, Yuma is tracking to reach 107°F and Imperial could get up to 109°F.

Our wind gusts on Saturday are tracking fairly moderate. Into the evening, around 8:30 p.m., we are tracking gusts in the 20-24 miles per hour range in Imperial County. Yuma County should expect to see gusts in the 15-18 miles per hour range.

By Sunday morning, gusts will calm down into the single digits across the region. Gusts will pick up Sunday evening, tracking similar speeds to the Saturday evening hours.

Overall, conditions are tracking pretty seasonable for the weekend. Expect to see temps heat up into the work week. Potentially breaking above the 110°F mark once again by Thursday.
