National average price of regular gas drops 14 cents

(NBC, KYMA) - Gas prices are dropping, but a new survey says price cuts may be hitting a pause.

The Lundberg Survey reports the national average price of a gallon of regular gas has dropped 14 centers in the past two weeks to $3.87.

The price has been falling since prices reached their peak seven weeks ago, dropping 71 cents a gallon.

However, Lundberg warns that price cuts may be hitting a pause, and may even climb four-to-seven cents in the coming days due to Iran attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz and President Donald Trump saying the ceasefire with Iran is over.
