Airline passenger sees huge smoke plume rising to the sky

(CBS, KYMA) - More than 180 firefighting personnel remained on the scene in Salt Lake County Tuesday morning gaining 43% containment on the Bonneville Fire.

X user @Mhertzky said they filmed the video as they flew to Salt Lake City from San Diego Monday.

As of Tuesday morning, the Bonneville Fire was an estimated 566 acres in size and posed no threat to residences or structures, officials said.
