5th annual Serenity Sun Splash brings families together for fun and awareness

YUMA,Ariz(KYMA)-The 5th annual Serenity Sun Splash was held today. Event-goers enjoyed a fun poolside experience with a DJ, food, and a raffle, all hosted by TLC Recovery Arizona.

TLC Recovery Arizona is a specialized substance use and mental health agency in our community, dedicated to supporting those in need.

Berenice Ortiz said, “We just want families from Yuma to have fun and see that recovery and mental health don’t have to be anything hard to talk about. We have fun while we break the stigma attached to all of this.”

Organizers say the event was a huge success, as hundreds of community members came together to enjoy a day of fun in the sun.
