Yuma police take over Dunkin’ Donuts for event supporting Amberly’s Place

YUMA,Ariz.(KYMA)-The Yuma Police Department took over Dunkin’ Donuts this morning for a special event supporting a good cause.

Officers were sharing donuts and coffee with the community today. Everyone was welcomed to enjoy the event and spend some time with local law enforcement. Not only did the event bring the community together, but it also raised money for a good cause.

Officer Hayato said, “They do so much for us, so it's important to give back to them because they're always they're always supporting victims, supporting law enforcement in the community.”

All proceeds will be donated directly to Amberly’s Place, a local organization that helps support victims of domestic violence and provides a safe place for those in need.
