CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Knicks fans revive unconscious man

NEW YORK (CBS, KYMA) - Several people sprung into action to resuscitate a man who fell unconscious at the New York Knicks victory parade in Manhattan Thursday.

The dramatic incident played out on the roof of an entrance to the World Trade Center Subway station, in front of thousands of Knicks fans who had gathered downtown.

Among those who helped revive the man was Peter Shrieve-Don, who was the first person to climb atop the subway entrance to reach him.

Several more people followed Shrieve-Don onto the roof, including Simone Kelly who administered Narcan which helped wake the man up according to a post Kelly shared in her Instagram story.

Kelly is a 24-year-old EMT with the South Orange Rescue Squad in New Jersey and is studying Pre-Med Neuroscience, Chemistry and Psychology Student at Drew University, according to her LinkedIn profile and news reports.

An FDNY ambulance crews soon and both they and the Good Samaritans carefully carried the man down off the rooftop so he could be transported away for medical care.

Storyful has not verified what caused the medical emergency.
