More than 1.3 million Jeep vehicle recalled due to electrical issue

(CBS, KYMA) - A serious warning to drivers of more than 1.3 million Jeeps.

Jeep's owner, Stellantis, says an electrical issue could cause the vehicles' wiring to overheat, which can cause a fire even when the vehicle is off.

The recall is for certain 2021 to 2025 Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators.

Drivers of these models should receive letters early next month, and they can have the problem fixed by a Jeep dealer for free.

Until then, the message is park your Jeep outside, away from any buildings. To learn more about the recall, see attached file.
