Iran suspends talks with U.S. after strikes

MGN

(CNN, KYMA) - Iran has pulled out of talks with the U.S., according to the Tasnim News Agency, which is a semi-official media channel in Tehran.

Iran says Israeli attacks in Lebanon are a breach of Iran's ceasefire with the U.S., and U.S. Central Command issued a statement saying it intercepted two Iranian ballistic missiles aimed at U.S. forces in Kuwait.

Iran said any ceasefire negotiations will not resume until Israel withdraws from Lebanon and stops fighting in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered strikes on Beirut Monday, and an Israeli official said the plans were coordinated with the U.S.
