Small aircraft makes emergency landing on beach in Maryland

OCEAN CITY, Md. (CBS, KYMA) - A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing on a beach in Ocean City, Maryland Monday.

According to fire officials, the aircraft, a Cessna 150, landed on the beach shortly after 5:30 p.m. Eastern.

"The two occupants onboard were evaluated by Ocean City paramedics and reported no injuries," the Ocean City Fire Department (OCFD) said.

Footage released by OCFD shows the small plane on the beach, with emergency crews at the scene.

Maryland State Police was investigating the incident as of Monday evening.
