CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Snow flurries in Colorado

EVERGREEN, Colo. (CBS, KYMA) - Central Colorado residents woke to snow flurries Tuesday morning, with a day of scattered showers ahead, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

According to the NWS, snow was "dumping" near the Eisenhower Tunnel, west of Denver, on Tuesday morning.

Footage taken by Jonathan Make shows "flurries and fog" in Evergreen, a mountain town southwest of Denver.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms were expected to continue across the Denver area into the afternoon, the NWS said, with "a couple of inches" of snow accumulation possible in the mountains.
