Thieves steal Pokemon and sports cards worth thousands from comic book and sports card store in Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS, KYMA) - A comic book and sports card store in Chicago was targeted in a smash-and-grab burglary Monday.

Surveillance video shows thieves breaking the front window of Elite Sport Cards & Comics.

The burglars stole about $100,000 worth of collectibles, according to the owner of the store, and the suspects took off in an unmarked vehicle.

Among the stolen items were Pokemon cards and high-end basketball and football cards.
