‘Golf ball-sized’ hail flows down street in Wisconsin

SUN PRAIRIE, Wisc. (CBS, KYMA) - Rain and hail gushed down a street in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin Tuesday as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flash flood warning for the area.

Reporter Todd Milewski (@ToddMilewski) captured the footage of the wet weather said the hail was beginning to look "golf ball-sized."

"And now the street flooding is real," Milewski added in a follow-up post on X.

The NWS issued a flash flood warning for Sun Prairie and surrounding areas.

"Move to higher ground immediately. Avoid walking or driving through floodwaters," the NWS said.
