Shots fired at Indianapolis City Council member’s home

INDIANAPOLIS (NBC, KYMA) - The FBI and authorities are investigating after shots were fired at the home of an Indianapolis City Council member.

According to City-County Councilor Ron Gibson, his home was the target of a shooting during the overnight hours of Monday.

Someone fired what appeared to be 13 shots at the front door of the home. In addition, the councilor says a note was left behind reading, "No data centers."

The alleged incident happened after midnight and Gibson and his son were asleep inside the home.

No one was injured in the shooting.
