Arizona Wildcats fall in Final Four in first trip since 2001

INDIANAPOLIS (KYMA) - The Wildcats were back drove into the Final Four with high hopes and came to a crashing halt. The Michigan Wolverines were in control for the full 40 minutes and crossed the finish line with a 91-73 victory.

The tone was set just minutes into the contest when Elliot Cadeau stripped the ball from Anthony Dell'Orso and quickly pushed it ahead to Trey McKinney for an emphatic dunk, giving Michigan a double-digit lead within the first six minutes.

Arizona went on a quick run to get back into the game on a Mo Krivas hook shot to make it a 28-23 deficit.

That's the closest the Wildcats would get for the remainder of the game. They went into the locker room at halftime down 48-32.

Two minutes into the second half, the Wolverines built their lead up to 21 points and they would maintain a massive lead until the final buzzer.

Michigan's Aday Mara 26 points and 9 rebounds while Elliot Cadeau had 13 points and 10 assists.

Koa Peat finished with a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds in what is most likely his final college game.
