Handcuffed woman escapes from back of police car

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (CBS, KYMA) - A woman managed to wiggle out of custody through the open window of a police car in Muskegon Heights, Michigan Saturday, with the brazen escape captured on a Facebook livestream.

Footage captured by Robert Williams, who operates The Block Paper Weekly Facebook page, shows the woman squeezing out of a Muskegon Heights Police vehicle.

Williams can be heard commentating behind the camera as the woman makes a break for it.

"Damn…this is live. They (police) don't even see…Look, look, look," Williams says. "They didn't see this, oh my God."

Storyful reached out to the Muskegon Heights Police Department for comment, but did not hear back at the time of publishing.
