Firefighters in San Francisco rescue woman hanging onto a cliff

SAN FRANCISCO (NBC, KYMA) - San Francisco firefighters were called Wednesday to rescue a woman clinging to a cliff face.

It appears she was wearing a bikini as she gripped the rocks.

Firefighters got the call just before 5 p.m. of a woman who reportedly went over the cliff.

A rescuer was able to rappel down and get her into a helmet and harness before helping her climb back up the cliff.

Authorities say she was evaluated on the scene to see if she needed medical attention, but no information about her condition was available.
