Lineup announced for Lollapalooza 2026

(CBS, KYMA) - Lollapalooza announced the lineup for their 2026 music festival. The festival was created by founder Perry Farrell in 1991, meaning this is its 35th year.

The lineup includes Charli XCX, Tate McRae, Lorde, Olivia Dean, John Summit, Jennie, The Smashing Pumpkins, and more.

The touring festival made Chicago's Grant park its home in 2005. The event started as a two-day festival in 2005, but in 2016, for their 25th anniversary, the event expanded to four days, making it a permanent change.

According to their website, Lollapalooza "was the first festival to bring together artists from a wide range of musical genres on one bill, it was also the first to travel, the first to expand to multiple days, the first to introduce a second stage, the first to blend art and activism, the first to offset its carbon emissions, the first to put electronic music artists on the main stage, the first to create family friendly programming, the first to make its home in an urban city center and the first to expand internationally."

The festival says the 2025 event generated "more than $480 million for Chicago's economy."

Presale for the festival starts Thursday at 10 a.m. Central. Lollapalooza says the lowest price for a four-day ticket will be available for only one hour.
