Tracking breezy conditions this weekend with possible rain chances on the way

We have cool temperatures and breezy conditions through Saturday. Tracking another weather system to bring in rain chances late this weekend and into early next week.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- Happy Friday! It's been a cool and breezy day!

Today is also Midnight at the Oasis at Desert Sun Stadium, and if you are going to the outdoor event, it will still be breezy with winds 10-20 MPH plus chilly temperatures.

A Wind Advisory is issued and will go into effect 2 a.m. until 12 p.m. PST Saturday for parts of the Desert Southwest for north winds and gusts up to 45 MPH.

Breezy and windy conditions will continue into the weekend with winds coming from the north northeast and gusts will be between 15-25 MPH. Stronger winds will favor toward the north.

Tracking another lower-pressure system to bring in cooler temperatures and also some moisture to the Desert Southwest.

There are rain chances Sunday and Monday for Yuma. The greatest opportunity for showers is looking on Monday.

The best chance to see some showers is looking Sunday night into Monday. It's looking to be light, and not every city in the Desert Southwest is expected to see rainfall.

Temperatures will be a bit of a roller coaster, but still pretty pleasant. It will also stay breezy with possible rain chances. It's still looking to be a great weekend for Midnight at the Oasis.

I am tracking temperatures to quickly heat up come late next week as highs will warm near the triple-digit mark. Enjoy the cooler weather, it won't last much longer.
