Tracking cool temperatures, winds, and possible rain chances

Weather changes have arrived! We will still have breezy conditions for the next few days, along with cool temperatures through the weekend. There are chance for showers also on the way.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- A Windy Advisory is still in effect for some areas in the Desert Southwest and it includes Blythe. This will stay in place until 6 p.m. PST this evening for north winds and gusts up to 45 MPH.

Due to gusty winds toward our north it's brining in blowing dust and sand, so that's why an Air Quality Alert is in effect until 7 p.m. PST tonight for Imperial County.

Thankfully, this evening winds will lighten up, but it will still be breezy with gusts between 20-25 MPH.

Breezy conditions will still linger for the next few days, nothing too overly gusty, but the winds will still be noticeable.

A current dry weather system will move through for the rest of the week, keeping us breezy and seasonable.
Another lower-pressure system is expected to move in late in the weekend, which could bring in some moisture to the Desert Southwest.

There are rain chances Sunday and Monday for Yuma. It's looking to be light, and not every city in the Desert Southwest is expected to see rainfall. I will keep tracking and bring more details as we get closer.

It sure will be nice having temperatures staying in the upper 70s through the weekend. But it will also be breezy with possible rain chances through early next week.
If you are going to Midnight at the Oasis this weekend, it will be a good idea to wear light layers.
Next week, we have another big warm-up as we will warm to the 90s and nearing the triple-digits.
