VAIL, Ariz. KYMA, KECY) - No. 20 San Luis made a statement on the road Wednesday night, knocking off No. 13 Cienega 2-0 in the opening round of the state playoffs.

The visiting Sidewinders delivered a composed performance away from home, capitalizing on their scoring chances and locking down defensively to secure the upset victory.

On the defensive end, goalkeeper Gael Obregón anchored the effort, recording a clean sheet and shutting down Cienega’s attack to preserve the two-goal lead.
