Xfinity unveils ‘Jurassic Park’ Super Bowl ad
(CNN, KYMA) - The original "Jurassic Park" movie is featured in an upcoming ad to run during the Super Bowl.
The commercial is for cable giant Comcast to promote its Xfinity video service.
The ad's premise takes viewers back to the first film in the dinosaur movie franchise, which came out in 1993.
Brought back to the screen to reprise their "Jurassic Park" roles are actors Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, and the Super Bowl ad was directed by Taika Waititi.
The ad's premise: Xfinity Connectivity helps get the dinosaur park's systems back online, and with that, the movie's stars get to relax, using the service for all their streaming needs.
Comcast is also the corporate parent company of NBC, which is airing Super Bowl LX Sunday.
