FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA) - Three fraternity members at Northern Arizona University (NAU) are facing criminal charges of hazing after the death of a student.

Flagstaff police say the 18-year-old had attended a rush event for the Delta Tau Delta fraternity where he and others were drinking.

Executive members of the fraternity, Carter Eslick, Ryan Creech and Riley Cass, are charged.

Police say bystanders started CPR before officers arrived, and police continued life-saving measures, but the young man died at the scene.
