Tracking a big warming trend and some winds moving in by the midweek

We have an unseasonable ridge of high pressure warming our temperatures well above-normal. Daytime highs will reach the mid-80s by Wednesday. Also, tracking breezier conditions Wednesday and Thursday.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA-TV)- The holiday countdown is on! Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and we are just 11 days away from Valentine’s Day.

Temperatures will be in the low 80s across the Desert Southwest today, which is warmer than normal for early February.

We have an unseasonable ridge of high pressure warming our temperatures well above normal within our region. Daytime highs will be trending between 10-15 degrees above-normal.

Winds will pick up by the middle of the week, with winds coming from the north/northeast with gusts between 20-30 MPH.

More winds are expected on Thursday with a slight shift in our wind direction, where winds will be coming from east northeast. Stronger winds are possible toward the east and for YPG.

We have warm afternoons and mild overnights for the next several days. Temperatures will peak by Wednesday with highs reaching the mid-80s. Tracking additional clouds and breezier conditions within the next few days, but dry conditions will continue.
We will have lots of sunshine and warm, but great weather for Super Bowl Sunday. Cooler and seasonable temperatures are expected next week.
