Temperatures continue to trend above average

KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Even by the Desert Southwest's standards, these temperatures are abnormally high. In a time when the usual highs are teetering the 70°F mark, Saturday will see temperatures reach above 80°F.

This is holding true for just about the entire region, where all but Ocotillo and Tacna (79°F) are sitting in the 80-82°F range Saturday.

For most of the region, it's tracking to stay that way for Sunday, as well.

Lows will sit in the low 50s, closer to the norm for late January in the Desert Southwest.

Winds will be a lot more calm this weekend. There will be spurts of gusts that reach 13-17mph in Yuma around dinner time in Yuma, and again at noon on Sunday.

But for the most part, the rest of Yuma and Imperial County will sit in the single digits.

Make sure you execute on this beautiful weather while it's here!
