Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee unveils plans for FIFA World Cup 2026

LOS ANGELES (KYMA, NBC) - The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee unveiled plans ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026.

According to a press release, the plans include community and fan engagements, including details on the FIFA Fan Festival, Los Angeles World Cup 26 Fan Zone and other events taking place around L.A.

During a press conference Wednesday morning, the committee also highlighted the following legacy initiatives and community engagement opportunities:

  • 26 Community Champions video series
  • Information on the next "Grow the Game of Soccer" youth clinic
  • Community Revitalization Days
  • Mobile Bus Tour

FIFA World Cup 2026 is taking place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, and will be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
