Dec. 31 marks final time Warren Buffett serves as Bershire Hathaway’s CEO

(NBC, KYMA) - Wednesday, December 31, 2025 marks the end of an era for Warren Buffett and Bershire Hathaway.

After nearly six decades on the job, this is Warren Buffett's last day as CEO of the Omaha, Nebraska holding company.

The 95-year-old investor announced his retirement earlier this year.

Buffett is widely regarded as a pillar on the Mount Rushmore of American business leaders.

As of today, Berkshire Hathaway holds a valuation of more than $1 trillion.
