James Ransone, ‘The Wire’ and ‘It: Chapter Two’ actor, dies at 46

(CNN, KYMA) - Actor James Ransone has died at the age of 46. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner says Ransone died last Friday in an apparent suicide.

Ransone was best known for his roles in the hit HBO series "The Wire" and movies like "It: Chapter Two" and "Sinister."

Ransone's career began more than 20 years ago when he starred in "Ken Park." He has made other TV and movies appearances over the years.

On Sunday, HBO and New Line Cinema, whose parent company is Warner Bros. Discovery, shared a tribute to Ransone on social media respectively.
