Turning Point USA holds AmericaFest in Phoenix

PHOENIX (NBC, KYMA) - Turning Point USA held its annual conference, AmericaFest, in Phoenix over the weekend.

The four-day event kicked off Thursday, December 18, and featured a variety of high-profile speakers who addressed those who attended the conference.

Among those were Donald Trump Jr., President Donald Trump via a phone call, and keynote speaker, Vice President JD Vance, who was endorsed by Erika Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed during a speaking event in Utah back in September.

Rapper Nikki Minaj also made a surprise appearance alongside Erika Kirk for an onstage discussion.

The annual conference wrapped up Sunday, December 21.
