Two dead, one arrested in strip mall shooting in Arizona
TEMPE, Ariz. (CNN, KYMA) - Two people shot at a strip mall in Arizona have died from their injuries, and one person is in custody.
Footage captured by a news outlet in the Phoenix area shows police at the East Valley Strip Mall in Tempe Monday morning.
When officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds. Both were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but they did not survive.
Police said the suspect stayed on the scene, was detained by officers and later arrested.
Investigators are working to learn more about what led up to the shooting.
